I’ve never been great at New Year’s Resolutions.  I’m more of a “If you’ve got to change something don’t wait for a date to start.  If it’s something that’s gonna be painful and crappy, get it over with as soon as possible.” kinda gal.  Does that mean I’ve accomplished a ton of big goals? No.  It just means I’ve had years of experience making bad decisions, realizing them, and working at reversing them.  Like exercising.  I used to love going to my exercise group.  Three times a week faithfully.  Then Covid. No classes.  It got easier and easier to stay in bed an extra hour and I wasn’t motivated to work out on my own.  6 pounds later turned into 12 pounds later and now I’m trying to reverse my pour decisions again.  I’m thankful God can give me a New Year’s Day ANY day I decide to turn to Him!

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
