What if the only way into Heaven was through an interview process after you die? You have three interviews…one with Jesus, one with the Holy Spirit and one with God. Jesus will interview you on your faith and compassion, the Holy Spirit will interview you on your Spirit and God will interview you on your actions. Yikes! I have shivers even thinking about that! Heaven would be pretty slim on angels that’s for sure! Thankfully, that’s not the way into Heaven. Belief in Jesus. Acceptance. Repentance. That day when I am finally called home to Heaven I’m not going to be interviewed, I’m going to be welcomed because Jesus already did the work on this earth by dying for me and when I accepted Him and repented, He welcomed me while I was still on this earth. Imperfect, messy, wandering, irresponsible, backroads farm-gal, me. No interview…only acceptance.
Romans 10:10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. … for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
